Call for Entries

Entries for the 2026 20th Annual Intervention Technology Award have now closed. 

All finalists will be required to make a short presentation to the panel of judges (comprised of ICoTA Board members) on the Monday just prior to the annual SPE/ICoTA Well Intervention Conference at the Waterway Marriott Hotel in The Woodlands, Texas. If a finalist is unable to present during this time, the submitted technology will be disqualified for the award.

Criteria

Innovative use of an existing technology or application of a new technology

Implementation and refinement of the technology over time or in a single project.

The technology must have been applied in a well intervention operation, for the first time, within the last 18 months

What is the purpose of the technology?

 

What is new, innovative or an improvement about the technology? (Describe the technology)

What distinguishes this technology from existing or previous technology already available?

Explain and quantify, if possible, how the technology benefits your clients and/or the industry.
