Shelby O'Neal is the USA Chapter Chair
Shelby started out as a Coiled Tubing Field Engineer with Schlumberger, running CT operations across the Permian. From there, he moved into an engineering and project management role with Conquest Completion Services before joining Stimline in 2018. He's spent the past several years helping bring digital solutions like IDEX to wireline and coiled tubing teams across North America.
"I’ve always enjoyed being part of ICoTA events and conferences, mostly just as an attendee learning from others in the industry. As I’ve grown in my career, I wanted to find a way to give back and help keep that same environment going for younger engineers coming up. Taking on the Chapter Chair role felt like a good way to do that and stay involved in shaping the next phase of the community."
Vision for the USA Chapter
"I’d like to see our chapter grow by getting more young professionals and field engineers involved… not just attending events, but actually contributing ideas and helping shape what ICoTA looks like in the future. Building local connections, like the Midland sub-chapter, is a big part of that vision."
