For 30 years, ICOTA has been shaped by people dedicated to advancing the well intervention industry, and Steve Deshotels is certainly one of them.
Steve was recently recognized as an ICOTA Honorary Lifetime Member in recognition of his service, commitment, and lasting impact on the coiled tubing and well intervention community, serving as a Global Director and active USA Chapter member for more than 20 years.
Serving as ICOTA Junior Chair from 2015–2016 and Senior Chair from 2016–2017, Steve helped guide several important initiatives, including the creation of the Executive Board and the launch of online training courses in Coiled Tubing Engineering and Well Intervention that continue to benefit the industry today.
Steve also dedicated more than 35 years to NOV Texas Oil Tools, advancing from Engineering Technician to Product Line Director — a career built on hard work, technical expertise, and steady guidance.
